Why do you have to bring your obsessions of the week into everything? Everyone gets it, you like Madonna no need to bring her up in everything. It's not gonna get you attention so stop seeking it.

On the topic, I think it 'could' be good but it needs to be handled with care. The original TV film was good but suffered from a bad adaption of the book and is quite dated now. A remake could be brilliant if the right people are involved.

I found the original boring. It just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on

It's quite long in a single viewing but that's because it was a mini series. The original hasn't aged well at all though. a remake would be great as long as they don't subsitute horror with bad cgi and an an overload of gore.

Then you would hate the book. The TV movie misses so much out.
