Well obviously you like to spend the day kneeling at your shrine to Jade but think about those like Jade suffering from such disease - often humour is something that gets them through it.

The worst people here are the ones who didn't care about cracking a gag at her expense when she was still labelled a "vile racist", but now act as if she's a bloody saint or something.


Obviously some of the stuff quoted here from YouTube does cross the line, but you have to admit the gags raise a chuckle - and I'm sure for many that sort of thing would raise their spirits much more than pages and pages of people who mean nothing to them saying what a wonderful brave human being she is.

OK, it's pretty clear I'm no fan of Jade Goody and unlike others, haven't decided the fact she's dying should mean I need to be, but from her various exploits over the years she's always been quite self depreciating and self aware, however dumb she may be at times - and I'm sure I've even seen quotes from herself regarding the situation basically taking the piss out of it. It's tough for her of course, but far better to have a laugh at it (occassionally) than to cry.

I have been a fan of Jade since day one and I`m pretty sure that most of the people expressing there disgust at the comments are too or at least they have the decency to realise that despite the fact Jade may have done wrong in the past in some peoples eyes that it is still sick to find these comments in any way funny.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jade has stated that there are two reasons why she has made her cancer so public.

1) To increase awareness of the cancer and make sure women start taking tests to check for the cancer earlier on.

2) To raise money for her children and their education. The OK! deal and every bit of money she can make whilst she is alive goes to them.

I do agree that it has become a handful, with her being in the press almost every day and updates almost every hour from her agent, but it's still a woman on the verge of death and mocking her isn't something people should be doing.

IMO some of the jade goody jokes are funny., but i think the majority are quite pitiful. EG. Head like and Egg in a box for Easter.

i think they are all bad and i'm no fan of jades i'm pretty open to a lot of things but for me personally jokes about anything like this (same goes for jokes about 9/11 diana the 7/7 bombings and so on) is crossing that line of going to far sadly there will always be people who start these kind of jokes going and in the technology age we live in doesnt take long for them to be spread around i dont dislike those people who find them funny different people have different senses of humour but i dont agree with the jokes and definatly dont find them funny

I have been wanting to say this since I first saw this thread, but since people get so high and mighty about this, I let it go. BUt its funny how they cant see thge irony, opening a whole thread about people mocking Jade. Its pretty much giving a bigger audience for these.
