There's not enough camera run on the living room because having a common wall between the living area and the task room is rather pointless. To top that, the part between the toilets and the living area is empty ? Camera run problem again.
Otherwise, it's rather good.
Wow! That looks really interesting, can't wait to see more.

I like it. I would position the task room differently though to make enough camera space for the living area.
Glenn.

Thanks guys. I have relocated the Task Room, to allow Camera Runs!

Not keen on the eye but look forward to seeing the rest of the house. Been waiting ages for the designs to get up and running again - it's the reason I joined this place!
I love the enterance hall, I love how it's flat and has no stairs and that it's really big. The detail is great, and the lighting. The only think I am not keen on is the door being pink, I think it would look so much better in white. Apart from that, it's fabulous!

I love the entrance, one criticism is it seems a little too wide.
and I love the eye, easily the best fan made eye I have seen
Glenn.
17-03-2009, 09:12 PM
Cheers guys. I did wonder about colour of the door.
I wanted the Entrance wide, to give a feeling of space. Thanks for the comments guys. The Living Room will be up in a couple of days!

I wanted it huge, fot my first one, though I have to agree with you. Im found it hard to fill the space.
The Sofas have changed colour now. There now grey, though I can change them back, to what fits best witht he design of the room. Im sort of thinking theres too much grey, so I may bring the green ones back. Tell me what you think.

Kitchens a bit too pink for my liking, but the garden looks promising.
As for the info in the press pack there though - nothing there that would give me hope that anything's changed for the better.

Glenn I love this house.
I would go back to the green sofa though, it adds a lot more colour to the room. I can only really see colour in the pink wall. I think with the metallic coloured wall everything seems too bare and white, so the green sofa is a nice contrast.
Glenn.

Ok so Ive read what you guys think, and have made some alterations. The Kitchen has had a lick of paint to break down the pink.

Really the day of the eviction is the least of the shows worries. There's dozens of things which need fixing before they even consider switching eviction nights. Personally while I think Sunday is the ideal launch day, allowing the show to build an audience throughout the week, I can't see any justification for moving evictions to Sundays.

wow... nice work.
Lots of the companies that make 3rd party renderers for 3ds and maya also do cut down versions for sketchup. Eg vray, maxwell, indigo. Do a search for "vray sketchup"..
eg
http://architecture.myninjaplease.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/test-render.jpg
(not my work)
This was modelled in sketchup and then rendered with that vray for sketchup plugin.
keep going ... you'll get a job in architectural visualization in no time.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I didnt think I would get so much feedback:banana:
I delaying the bedroom, and working on the Garden. Pics should be up in the next couple days, depending on how much time I can put onto it.
I love your living area. Only two things:
1) It does feel a tad too spacious.
2) I preferred the curvy bit when it was wood.
Otherwise, it all looks great, especially considering it's your first house. Well done! :hello:

I have changed the curved wall back to wood. I was just experimenting with colours.
Also I was looking at the actual size of the living area, and I think everything is well in proportion, and I seem to look past the vastness of it, because thats how I wanted it.
Its to give the housemates a sense of Luxury and granduer sort of.
I am drafting another Project, and the size of it borders along the lines of claustiphobia:wink:

Thanks again guys:thumbs:
I wanted to maximise the space of everything, with this project, and I found it hard in places to fill the areas, I.E the Living Room, which is mahussive. The bedroom, which I am having problems with, because of the size, may well be cut down a little from the original. To be hnest I want to get this project out of the way, because my head is brisiling with loads of brilliant ideas for my BB10/.2 Project. Which is pretty much down to Conor and his own amzing BB10 Project. I also will be be changing the house template, to what it is now, to maximise shelf life, but it will be different to Conor's:thumbs:
Well all that is left to this project is the Bedroom and Bathroom, and of course the Diary Room chair that is still in the early stages.
Again thanks for the feedback, and the tips with the decor in some areas of the house. This is truly TiBB's house for all the imput you guys have had in it!
