Arista you keep banging on about how **** Labour are and how The Conservatives are going to "Save" us!
Exactly how is that going to happen? What policies do they have that will benefit ordinary working people?
How would anything be better under them?
Anyone can throw stones but they have nothing to back up why they would do things better.
I know you love a news story...

This present Labout Government may not be much to write home about.I n fact they stink and stink again but not half as much as the toff Tory party who are under no circumstances a party for the working class and barely for the middle class either.......Voters however will only learn after it's to late.....So be prepred for another 18 years of Tory inhumanity....Cameron Thatcher in trousers and just as big a hypocrite......

I used this old 2009 thread as
on Newsnight Extended 50mins last night
a Guest stated
2016 The Public Voted for Change Brexit
2019 The Public Voted for Change Boris (Failed to Deliver)
2024 The Public Voted for Change Starmer
Ultimately , it matters not who is in charge to us lowly folk at the bottom of the food chain ( so to speak )
It’s essentially gonna be different lies coming out of different liar’s mouths ~ and so it has always been .

For another shocker for me: My daughter is 15, and has never known anything but Tories in power in politics (it was Labour when she was born but she was still just a baby when the Tories entered No. 10)

15 years too many in hindsight.
At least your Daughter has hope to possibly see good leadership in this country now.

The Sunday Papers

Bob Blackburn MP
now the new 1922 Committee Chairman
The Sunday Papers
claim Sunak will stay for a few weeks
then a caretaker
to take over?
Parliament returns Tuesday.
Suddenly Tory HQ is starting to sound like the Overlook Hotel lol.
I can already picture Sunak dressing in a red velvet jacket and telling the next leader 'You are the caretaker... You've always been the caretaker'.
they need to spend a year or so listening to voters and understanding why they were beaten, because they just don't see it yet. Then they will be in a position to pick a new leader

But there is a Conference on the way
so they will not spend a year
getting the new leader
…the public voice/voter’s voice has never been so used and so clear to a government as in the world of social media we live in today…so if there is a lack of hearing then it has to be a lack of listening and a lack of interest…the Tory government was ‘beaten’ because it’s had no interest in serving the people above its own self serving ego and interests…the Tories didn’t suffer the biggest loss, the public have suffered that under their rule and their government …and they really haven’t showed any care of that at all…too little, too late to say…please vote for us, when they still had nothing to offer other than empty words…
…listen to the people/public…?…pfffftttt…this has been a government that changes the rules to serve their own will and their own way…
yeah, they need an extended period in which they are not thinking about themselves, but on the constituents that they represent.
But there is a Conference on the way
so they will not spend a year
getting the new leader
one way or another they will spend an extended time period picking a new leader. If they pick one now, that person will be ridiculed and replaced in a years time
