The Saturdays have revealed that they are working with Rihanna's producer on their second album.

The group have started writing the follow-up to their debut Chasing Lights, which they intend to release by the end of the year.

"We're writing with some amazing people, which is nice because on the first album we didnt write at all," Una Healy told Orange.

"We're going to be writing with Rihanna's producer. It's really exciting for us."

Discussing the direction of the new record, Rochelle Wiseman recently told DS: "It's still us, but I'm guessing it's going to be a bit more personal."

"Slightly more mature-sounding I suppose, but we really know what our sound is now," Healy added.

The Saturdays recently announced details of their first headline tour.

I hope they keep their electropop sound though.

Tracks so far include "Wordshaker" done by the same people who did "Work", "One Shot" done by a new team that they haven't worked with and another new song called "Deeper" which was co-written by the girls.

Album will be out in October as they're taking the place of Girls Aloud this year.
