Jade's best friend confirms Jade the Movie!

When rumours first emerged that a movie could be made of Jade Goody’s life, we took them with a pinch of salt – but now Jade’s close friend (and joint trustee of the fund for her sons) Danny Hayward says they are in fact planning one. “Her story lends itself to a biographical film,” he says. “She's captured the mood of the nation. We want it to tap into raising awareness of cervical cancer.” Apparently director Nick Love, best known for The Football Factory and current biopic Bronson, is first choice to direct the movie, and is said to be “very flattered” about being approached. Do you think a film about Jade’s life is a good idea? And if so, who should play her?

Isnt this about those who invested in the Jade Goody industry wanting to cash in a return any way they can out of her legacy?

She passed away before many of the promotions she signed could be fulfilled.

The investors want a movie cos a movie=publicity, publicity = perfume sales. Investors get some money back or all theyre left with is a warehouse of unsold goods gathering dust.

IF they did a movie i wouldnt pay to see it.

I would (and I do) donate to Cancer Research directly instead.
