Hello, and welcome to the second series of TiBB Does The Apprentice. It's been more than a year since the first series hit your computer screens, and now ten new candidates have stepped up to the plate, ready to play the game.

Over the course of the next two or so weeks, two teams will compete against each other in a series of challenges - some old, some new - with the object of competing for a hypothetical job as a TiBB moderator. After each task, the leader of the losing team will pick two of their team members to send to the boardroom, where forum admin James will fire one of them.

And the end, when three candidates remain, James will hire one person, therefore crowning them the winner of the show. They will recieve a forum award, plus a karma prize.

Conor, who describes himself as intelligent, fun and sociable, does voluntary work that involves him working as part of a team to 'give out money to disadvantaged young people'. He says that he is not enjoying TiBB as much recently following the spreading of a 'rumour' which prompted other members to 'judge and criticise him', but that he is 'hoping to rebuild his status' this year. He wants to take part in TiBB Apprentice to show a different part of himself.

Sam counts the real Apprentice as one of his favourite shows, and says he wants to be a TiBB Apprentice candidate because he thinks it's his 'cup of tea'. He thinks he has the drive to win, but notes that he's glad it's not a popularity contest - probably because of his negative karma score - and that he thinks he has a better shot at winning this compared to other games. The three words he uses to describe himself are 'fun', 'opinionated', and 'intelligent'.

Sia DOESN'T think she'll win TiBB Apprentice, but says that she'll 'have fun trying'. Her hobbies are swimming, dancing, fashion, art, philosophy, literature, and languages, and her life philosophy is 'If there isn't a Wikipedia page about it, then it probably isn't that important.' She describes herself as clumsy, messy and disorganised, and says she knows a lot about jellyfish and Hitler. She knows some parts of Virgil's "Aeneid" off by heart.

Tom can only come up with two words to describe himself (opinionated and stupid) and his life philosophy is to live for the moment - '****** the future, deal with that when it happens'. A fan of the real Apprentice, he entered the show because it 'seemed like a good laugh', but he doesn't think he'll win. His hobbies include going out and sports, specifically boxing. He says his TiBB history has mainly involved winding members up by arguing opinions he doesn't even hold.

Kate, who has taken part in many forum games, is a big horse-riding enthusiast. A 'smiley, happy and joyful' character, who watches the real Apprentice, she is looking forward to taking part as she thinks it will be lots of fun.

Shaun, who watches the real Apprentice, says he is hard-working, determined, 'a bit' ruthless and 'sly' about his backstabbing. However, he also believes that the 'in-crowd' will contribute to his downfall in the game, noting that some members may vote for their friends, ignoring the 'less popular but more talented members'. He says he's recognised for his one-liners, and that life is there to be enjoyed - 'stop wasting time thinking about life, and live it'.

Loukas wants to take part in TiBB Apprentice because he wants to 'show certain members that he's not as stupid as they think he is'. He says that he'll be a great team member and he'll 'help with whatever needs done'. He caused permanent damage to his older cousin's knee after kicking it when he was 11. He describes himself as funny, loud and unique, and says he hasn't watched a full series of BBC1's The Apprentice, but that he is aware of its' concept.

Nicky, who has been playing guitar since the age of 8, has entered TiBB Apprentice for the 'experience'. A fun and energetic person who hasn't seem the real Apprentice, she says she'll win the game because she's creative, competitive and she'll 'show the others how it's done'. Her life philosophy is to be who you are: 'if you’re different, don’t be ashamed and try and hide it'. Her hobbies include graphic making, hanging out with friends and walking her dogs.

She likes the people on TiBB, and she dislikes it when sad or scary stories are posted. Formerly 'quite mean' (in her own words), she says she's grown up and is now nicer to most members, except the ones who are 'trying to be assholes'. She'll watch the real Apprentice for the first time tomorrow.

Sam presented the first series of TiBB Apprentice, but he decided that this time he'd like to see how he'd hack it as a contestant, saying he'd 'never forgive' himself if he lost. Sam likes learning foreign languages, particularly French - he loves France and has a French exchange with the same name. Describing himself as funny, beautiful and unique, he says that he is a huge fan of Leona Lewis and the film Wall-E. He is happy to be back on TiBB.

Note: To avoid confusion, Sam will be referred to as 'Snig' throughout the remainder of the competition.

The contestants have been split and the teams are ready to play - so here's their simple first task.

After electing their leaders, the teams must come up with a name, which will stick with them for the rest of the show, and a logo for themselves. They must also create an avatar and banner for their members to use.

Their work will be judged by two forum members renowned for their graphics ability, and you, the forum public will vote for the identity you prefer. The team behind the losing identity will then face the first firing.

Join me on Thursday for the results of the first task.

Only me, moderators and team members will have access to the respective team's forums.
