Davina McCall will reportedly take over from Jack Whitehall in a revamped Big Brother's Big Mouth this summer.
The presenter will host the E4 spinoff show, which sees studio audience members offer their opinions on the goings-on in the Big Brother house, in a newly created hour-long slot each Friday after the main eviction show.
"Davina will be great. It means Jack's not coming back but we're really excited about it. Davina hosted Big Mouth for a week in the last series and she loved being on E4," Channel 4 commissioning editor Angela Jain told The Sun.
Big Brother's Little Brother, hosted by George Lamb, will continue to be aired six nights a week.
Meanwhile, Jain hinted that the reality TV show would not be renewed beyond 2010.
"We're contracted to do another Big Brother after this one," she told The Sun.
"It's a shame because I would have liked to end on the tenth."

Not sure how I feel of this. Although I loved Davina on BBBM, I though Jack broguth something new to the show. Glad to hear of a re-vamp for it though.

It's not been picked up anywhere else to my knowledge so I doubt it's true... yet.

To be fair though, they have directly quoted her.
Besides, it is most likely a result of budget cut backs.

In the same article, they supposedly directly quoted her saying that she wished BB10 would be the last, but she denied that she said that.

Perhaps, I think it's pretty safe to assume though. *points to editted post*

It's not though. For all we know, they could be contracted to do around 4 shows a week - this is a quote from a post from Channel 4's "The TV Show" regarding the axing of the live feed:
I asked him a question that had been raised by viewers and discussed in forums – if money is the issue, why not reinstate the live feed and drop one of the satellite shows? This took us into some tricky (and confidential!) territory relating to the contractual position with the production company, but he did understand from that question how important the live feed is to some viewers and reassured me (or rather viewers) that no decision had yet been taken over live feed for the summer show of Big Brother, and he had got the message!
...and I doubt there'd be any budget cutbacks since the contract was agreed in 2006 for a reported £180million.
I'm not saying the report is definitely false - but let's face it, it's not like them to do a major revamp of something

Davina is mint, i stand by my celebration of her presenting. And she knows how to present. Kk she earns alot for what she does, but shes managed to get herself to that position by making right decisions in life... she wasnt plucked out of thin air and given the part. and Davina shud host big mouth... and lil big bro shud go bk to dermit??

A lot of contracts have been renegotiated in recent months though - and I'm sure that £180m contract isn't set in stone. It's probably broken down some what, especially in relation to the spin-offs, so there is a bit of flexibility on both sides. Just as C4 wouldn't want to be paying for a spin-off they no longer air, Endemol wouldn't want to find themselves having to provide a couple of extra programmes a day should C4 have decided that (in some parallel universe where they actually cared!).

They've quoted her in the past as saying 'Yes, i'm leaving Big Brother at the end of the current series'
