would it be bad if big brother started in a JULY?, could you wait that long ??

i have a feeling that bb producers will be starting the show in july to celebrate 10 years as you all know bb1 started on the 14 july 2000.

I have just been on the Daily Star's website and the Launch date for BB9 was revealed on 5th April 2008 with the Eye revealed 13th May 2008, SURELY WE'D HAVE HAD NEWS BY NOW,everythink is pointing to a july launch!

I am thinking a late June launch at the VERY latest. My Chemistry and Physics GCSE's are on the 22nd of June, so a 26th of June launch would be nice (a Friday).

Yes, I am REALLY excited for BB already but I would be willing to wait another 3 months, even though I'm ready for BB now.

Nope because i will miss it because i will be on holiday... i normally miss 2 weeks mid series but i want to watch the first 6 weeks.

I say, the middle of June as my exams would be all finished :hugesmile:

Nope because that means it runs into September.

I go on holiday on 1st September for 2 weeks.

I don't think they would risk going as late as July , mid June is as late as they would push it.
It would have launched in May last year if it hadn't for BGT, its something which C4 has been forced to do so I can't see them wanting to launch it later than necessary.
I think it will launch a week later than it did last year so the second week of June

Well an insider in the IBB comments mentioned news coming out first week of May which is just 2 1/2 weeks away now.

I think this is audience tickets for the spin-offs since according to someone in the know, audience members were lower than usual during CBB6 and they're putting up tickets earlier this year to try and bring them back up.

Both insiders I speak to this time of year said so in updates last week (one who got me some stuff this early last year that turned out to be true).

it will be around early june most probbaly like it usually is..
i used to like it end of may but i do have gcse's to be done which i will fail as i actually cannot revise

If it finished in October, it would clash with The X Factor - and the whole reason why it's delayed is to avoid BGT. So not a good idea ;)

I don't understand what all the fuss is about with regards to clashing with bgt and xfactor because there not even on at the same time bb is usually on at 10pm.A may start would be sweeeet.

TV schedules are planned around threem months in advance, upto six for bigger or longer running shows. The only reason they don't announce them till last minute is that things sometimes change. E.g. someone dies and a tribute is shown instead or a new show is comissioned that requires the same slot.

The Channel 4 sales website should be updated by the end of the week with news of "next month's" (i.e. June's) highlights.

I would expect BB to be included then.

The only news we have had is that there is no red button live feed.

And that has spoiled the series.
