Before beginning this task, you must elect a team leader. This must be a unanimous decision. As soon as you have chosen your leader, please contact me (via U2U/MSN) to let me know who your leader is.
Creative Writing is becoming one of the most popular sections on TiBB - so for your fourth task, you must write a short story involving TiBB members.
After electing your team leader, both teams will take turns to select members to include in their story. Each team will be allowed to pick six members from a list of 12.
Once you have chosen members, you should plan your story, and then write it. It is up to you how you split the work, but your story must be no more than 1,500 words long in total.
When you have finished writing your story, you should inform me.
You have until Monday at 5.30pm to write your story. You will then post your story in its own thread in the Creative Writing forum in two parts - the first should be posted at approximately 6.00pm on Monday, and the second at approximately 9.00pm on Monday.
A panel of judges will choose the winning team, with the losers facing the next firing on Tuesday.
Rules:
1. Your story must be completely original, i.e. not directly based on any existing story or TV show.
2. Your story must be no longer than 1,500 words in total.
3. Only the six characters you choose from the list can be the main characters in your story. Other characters must be non-speaking/inactive.
4. The deadline for completion of your story is Monday at 5.30pm GMT.
If you fail to fully complete the task, or adhere to the deadline/posting schedule outlined above, then you will automatically lose the task and face the subsequent elimination.
