Well I've seen all these eyes and thought I'd better have a go. So here's my design :hello:

Welcome To Paradise
The theme this year will be paradise, the series will emphasise more on the housemates personalities this year instead of small gimmicks/twists. And all I say for now is that it going to be a long HOT summer this year.

Thanks lol, does the eye look like a tropical island to you? It was the effect that i was trying to go for but i don't know if it has worked.

If you want an island effect i would reduce the white outline, make it look more like grass with spiky edges and maybe have a palm tree or something coming from the top. Just an idea. It sort of reminds me of Celebrity Love Island.

House Plan
A Few Points:
*The grass in the garden has been removed due to the fact that the garden won't be receiving any rain this summer
* All the interior walls are made out of glass, the only interior walls that aren't are the wall blocking off view to the toilet and the diary room and store room
*The walkway is flat i.e. BB5

More details coming soon

I think this is one of my least favourite designs on TiBB at the moment (sorry ). I'd hate a house with NO walls - even if it means having more glass walls. There's also a lack of camera runs.

And where is the bedroom?

I hate the idea of there being no grass in the garden. If it rained all the sand would go shitty and could leak into the house. What a messy house that would be. And it would be shitt cold in the house.

I don't like the idea of not having a bedroom. I get the feeling you're going to be doing a Shipwrecked/Big Brother crossover - and that's something I'd hate to see.

nope this is all BB, and by the way Ive taken your advise and the the walls will be glass. I suppose a house with no walls means a house with no bitching.

Update House Plan

Updates:
* Lighthouse has been introduced to the house, housemates will have to swim for there hourly bitch (Think BB6 Love Loft)
* A sun cream fountain has be placed on the beach, Big Brother expects 400 litres of the stuff to be used in house (note, 3 quarters of that will be used in sun cream fights :joker:)
* The pool is fitted with a wave machine if housemates fail to get up after the (new) alarm BB will but it on at full blast and wash them way.

I really like this idea. The logo is clever and the house is a fresh idea. Whos to say the garden isn't inside or infact the whole house isn't in another country? After all, the general theme in BB Designs this year seems to be rip up the rule book and do what you want lol

The advertisement campaign will tell the public that this years BB will be paradise. The main aim of the adverts is to get people suspicious and want to find out what is really going on, as i can't make adverts this advert from BB6 Australia is the closest thing i can find to what they will look like.

Kitchen
Nobody has realised that there is no kitchen yet and that because you don't cook in paradise, anyway housemates will be served by a conveyor belt as seen in BB8 Australia, the bar on the beach will also work in the same way. The quality of the food served and the amount of alcohol given will depend on the task.

How Paradise Works
Right I know you have all been desperate to find out and this is how it will work.the house will be kept at a constant temperature of 30 degrees, the garden will be enclosed with a glass roof causing a greenhouse effect (global warming) this will also mean that the house will recieve no rain. Fresh air will be pumped in through a hole in the garden wall.

Where the Lighthouse comes in
If there is cloud cover in the sky blocking out the sun BB will put on the lighthouse which Ultraviolet lights (which are what are found on sunbeds)at the top of the lighthouse.

The light house will be used as the morning alarm as well to wake up the housemates and if this alarm doesn't work then BB will set the wave machine to high and wash the housemates way.

All in all the Big Brother house will turn into a hot and humid hell hole and the only place to escape this is the secret sex dungeon (more about that later).

Live Eviction
Live evictions will be the usual however the first show will only be half an hour long this will allow for more entertaining look back at the day.

Eviction Set
The 2 seats have now been replaced by on sofa to give it a more comfortable feel.
A TV screen circulates the eviction stage making the area feel enclosed with only an average person sized tall gap underneath it so that you can get into this area.
The audience size that can fit into the studio is 100 people.

Here are some pics, please comment :D

Is that water between the stage and crowd?

Personally if you're introducing a sofa I think you'd be better off pushing the stage back a bit so the crowd aren't all the way around it, but just in front of it and curving round the sides a bit, so that they (and the cameras) can all see Davina and the evictee quite easily.

I was thinking that but it didn't seem like much of a problem in BB6 and BB9 and personally they are my favorite studios

They had simple seats though. With a sofa there would be more of a barrier between the back of the evictee/host than the crowd.

That said though, I don't know if you've seen Transmission but I always thought that could be a good eviction layout - basically an L-shaped sofa on a slightly raised square stage with the audience around it.

I haven't seen transmission but I think the stage is low enough for the audience to see at least Davina or the evicted housemate if not both.

Crowd size will be around the same size as BB5 so that is about 1000 people.

Would be good for when your evicted.

Stand in the middle and you get lifted straight into the centre.

You got me, yes that is exactly right.

when a housemate is evicted they will be shot right up into the middle of the crowd on a moving platform kind of thing, like you see at concerts with trapdoors.

another lift is in the house and there is an underground walkway between the two.

The door opening is simple though - this kind of looks overly complicated!

I do like the idea, but I think simplifying it a bit would make it work better. I'd incorporate it into the house so they go up some stairs onto a balcony (effectively the roof of a one-floor high part of the house at the front), and then have them go down from there - so it's down the lift, turn and down a short corridor straight into the house.

I get your point but I don't think it is that complicated, down a lift then along a corridor then up a lift.

And it is incorporated into the house as the lift will be inside the house so when we get some late arrivals coming in it with be more of a shock than opening the front door really slowly.

I agree with Brekkie, one lift is enough, two is overcomplicating it.
