Once again, Big Brother is holding open auditions around the UK & Ireland. There's no need to send in an application form or a video - hopefuls just need to turn up at one of the countrywide audition venues and show why they should be chosen to take part in Big Brother 6.

Big Brother will be visiting Edinburgh, Newcastle, Dublin, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham and London from 5th February through to 6th March 2005.

At each location, the production team will scour the queues and select the people who stand out to go through to the next stage. There is no guarantee everyone will even make it through the door, but those who do, will get one minute to sell themselves to Big Brother in one of the diary rooms. Applicants can do or say anything that will make them stand out from the thousands who turn up to try and convince Big Brother why the nation would want to watch them over the summer.

All applicants must be aged over18 in the summer of 2005 and available to take part all summer 2005. Those turning up to audition will be required to take photo ID (such as a passport or driving license) as proof of age and identity. No ID, no entry. Applicants are advised to wrap up warm and bring something to eat and drink, as it could be a long day.

The dates & locations are as follows:

· Edinburgh - Saturday 5th February 2005
9am start - Edinburgh Corn Exchange, 11 Newmarket Road, EH14.

9am start - Newcastle United Football Club, St James' Park.

The nearest audition point is only 4 miles from me. I am too ancient to apply as the BB house does not have a stair lift or hand rails. Just joking I am not quite that old I just feel that I am some days.

Has James said "They won't know it's Hooly"

There not going to look around the forum to see if i've been here and my pic is no longer on this site, so they can't prove it.

Thanks BS & James

Will do Anglestar. With perhaps 20 people getting in then you will have a better chance, I suppose there will be a good few standbyes and all. Good luck.

Does anyone know whats happened next, or has anyone who got thru been called by BB yet? I recon it might be in the next couple of weeks if they want us, given that the last open audition has just closed.

any hints would be wicked
