One of Jade Goody’s closest friends is reportedly being considered to star in the new series of Big Brother so that her 'fantastic spirit can live on for ever in the house'. Bosses of the reality show, which shot the late 27-year-old to stardom, may let her pal Scouser Jaiden Michael be amongst the 14 contestants entering the BB10 House in June.
The 25-year-old, who has tried to be in the show twice before, was allegedly fast-tracked through the audition process after he revealed his association with Jade, who lost her battle to cervical cancer on March 22.
According to pals, Jaiden is the male version of the late reality star since the two shared strikingly common personality traits. “Jaiden loved Jade… He was gutted when she died as they always had such a laugh together because their senses of humour were so similar,” the Daily star quoted a pal as saying.
“If he goes in that house he has vowed to make sure she is not forgotten – and he is determined to bring back the Jade spirit that we all knew and loved. It will be like Jade is back in the Big Brother House all over again,” the pal added.
An insider at the auditions said: “He’s very confident and quite arrogant but lovely with it, and you can immediately see why he and Jade clicked. Because he has auditioned before, he didn’t have to go through all the normal processes and, with the spotlight on Jade, producers think it might just be his time to go into the House.”
However, a Big Brother spokesman insisted: “We are still in the very early stages and no selection has yet been made on the final contestants.”
