Surely everyone has heard about them by now
Its really scary though, the places ITV headlined with as targets are some of the places I go to most ...

Yeah, it's pretty scary. I know a lot of people that go to LJMU too, though none of them were in the library at the time of the "raid".
Thankfully it was intervened, but there'll be numerous other plans happening right now.

ITV News shown 4 images of expected targets during the headlines:
- The Arndale
- The Trafford Centre
- The Printworks/The Birdcage
- St Annes Square
So although its in mainly Liverpool, they obviously think Manchester was the main target ...

I go to The Arndale oftenish, but then again I remember when Metro Centre in Gateshead was the main target for like a year - cos it's the biggest mall in Europe - nothing shall stop me when I shop!

Its when the police raid the houses or locations of people they suspect are planning a terrorist attack. :spin2:
In this case, the "raid" resulted in the arrest of 12 men they suspected were going to attack some targets in England.

Yeah.
There were also some men arrested in Cheetham in a cybercafe, and a house.
Arrests were also made in LJMU, and along a motorway.

Its kinda scary because the places rumoured to have been targeted are everyday places where you can see yourself being, it makes the threat seem a lot more real to the public which I suppose is a good thing

Some are, but that's because they knew them as neighbours and not terrorists. Some aren't. You can't really say "the local asians" then give one viewpoint. Afterall, it's themselves or their family that would also have been the target.
