Goody's gran: 'I'd love to wring Parky's neck'

Jade Goody's gran has hit back at Michael Parkinson after he said that the late reality star represents "all that's paltry and wretched about Britain today".

The chatshow host, 74, wrote in the Radio Times that Goody had cemented her place in TV history but her achievements were "nothing to be proud of".

Caddock, 76, reportedly told the Daily Star: "I'd love to give him a piece of my mind. I would love to wring his neck.

"If I could see him face to face I would love to give him a right mouthful and a wallop. But I know that everyone else is behind her so it doesn't matter what one man thinks.

"How can he say Jade has got nothing to be proud of? She was so brave and she highlighted the dangers of cervical cancer to young women."

She added: "To be honest, I don’t think he has got anything to be proud of. I’ve always found him a bit irritating."

Goody, 27, passed away on Mother's Day after losing her battle with cervical cancer.

my condolences go out to them and stuff, and her story is so sad but they need to understand that everyone else has freedom of speech just as she did when she was alive. Obviously a lot of people disagree with the way she led her life constantly in the spotlight, which is one of the negatives of doing it
