I can't work out how to year mine :\
- Finish this year at college.
- Start my second year of the Btec ND Performing Arts and finish with DDD/DDM.
- Move in with my bf and progress to either theatre school (hopefully Central School of Speech&Drama, maybe RADA etc), or do the next course up where I am (you can do a degree there, or a foundation degree, idk).
No idea then on.
I don't really know what I'm going to do in the future.
I know what I want to do eventually (west end/musical theatre/performing) but just haven't really thought about how to get there.
Gonna talk to tutors after the hols :]

I really don`t have it mapped out at all, obviously I have an idea in which direction Im going career wise but no,I prefer to live for today lmao.I get really bored easily and like dojng things on the spur of the moment.
Finish my course.
Start Drama school in September! :)
That goes on for 3 years... until I do my final showcase at the end of my actors training in front of the BBC, ITV and agents. In... 2011/2012? Then I am going to live in the business and see what work comes out of it, if I get anywhere I will carry on doing auditions and being an actor, if not I will consider re applying to a bigger drama school, like Mountview, and possibly take a directing course.
Darren, don't put your hopes on RADA and Central. It is very rare they take on anyone below 21.

Already done. Now I'm at Uni in Marseille (3rd best Uni in France please !) doing a International Trade and Port Logistics (that's the correct title) and then I'll continue overseas. I can't stop after 2 years. My parents don't want me to anyway.

I sound like such a mum at the moment, LOL - but I'd advise taking English above Photography or Media Journalism. Most media will only take people with English degrees, not specified media degrees. And photography will hold you down to just one career choice - whereas English opens up so many opportunities.
(psst, but take what you'll enjoy more).

/mother. Haha, well i actually need some advice for this actually so thanks haha. I really want to work in magazines and was told the course i need to take would be media journalism, but my english teacher has advised me to take English. Photography was just there because i really enjoy it but i know i could always do that on the side if i really wanted to. Part of my reasons for taking English and Photography in college was to see which one i preffered :P
Thanks Lauren

Aye go for it, I did the same. I only got accepted at one of them, I decided to only apply at uni based Drama Schools as I needed the funding from student loans, if you go to a private drama school you have to look towards businesses to fund you. £30,000 a year. You can only apply to 5 uni/drama schools but you can apply to as many privates as you want.

By the way there's a cool theatre thing in Lancaster you've probably heard of. They do outside moving plays in this huge park thing and they're part of that free theatre scheme. It's obviously not far from UCLan.

All I've decided (And started to organise) is in a few years when I leave school that I'm going to take a break year in Crete and stay with my grandparents and probably get a job in a bar. Theres a big demand for people who can speak English/Greek over there as there are so many new bars and clubs opening.
