Unusually I am at home this morning, so I was able to see Helen on GMTV and Lorraine.

On GMTV she appeared twice, once with the pre 7am pair and then again at 9am, talking about Sunita of course, and yet again tipping Spencer for winner. She does look absolutely sparkling and comfortable on that Sofa and certainly gives Eamonn Holmes as good as she gets. Eamonn wished her a Happy Birthday and asked if she had anything special planned, to which she answered that she was sure Paul would arrange something special. Eamonn looked at camera and told Paul he had better think of something very special....................

Minutes later, and is if by magic Helen materialises on the Lorraine couch with Natasha, talking again about the Sunita situation.......and then we got on to the presents!

Apparently Paul has got her balloons which spelt out the letters of Happy Birthday, with an individual present hanging off each one!

When asked if she had opened them yet she answered

'Yeah, of course, I made him get up so I could open them all'. Bless him, that must have been about 4 am!

Natasha asked Helen if she would go back in the house, and Helen said......

'Well, I would, but I'd have to take Paul Clarke, because I couldn't live for 9 weeks without him, it would feel as if part of my body was missing, I just couldn't!'

(Own up, even you cynics, how cute was that?')

Others that she chose for housemates were Lorraine, Darius (for Lorraine) Eamonn Holmes (cos he's cuddelly!), and Posh and Becks!

When the photo's of these housemates were shown Helen went into absolute raptures at seeing Paul's picture,

'Oooooh, there's Paul, don't he look lovely, love him, aaaah, he looks GORGEOUS, it's Paul!'

'Look at you all in love!' said Natasha.

'I know!' said Helen, as she does, beaming from ear to ear.

That was it until the end when Natasha said,

......'We have a very special surprise for Helen'

Friends, I nearly smudged me lip gloss in excitement and anticipation..........

Could it be? Would he? Surely, it had to be..................

God, how could I have forgotten Helen's birthday today.

It's Lee's birthday in the house as well. How can someone so deathly boring and uninteresting possibly share a birthday with our Helen. :conf: :conf:

It's Richard Gere as a naval aviator, sweeping Debra Winger off her feet in an Officer and a Gentleman.

As in:

If it works, I'm having no luck tonight!

Yes!!!!

I just thought it would be great seeing PC sride into the South Bank Studios manfully, propose, then scoop up and carry out the screeching Helen into the wide blue yonder.....well, the side of the Thames anyway!

!!!! BELATED BIRTHDAY WISHES TO HELEN !!!!

Hasn't that year just flown. Is it 12 months ago when Helen was billing and cooing over those Gucci shoes, but was an absolute star and gave them up for a party? I can't believe the time has flown so fast.

Just think guys - 12 months ago - if we had only known what fate had in store for Helen, Paul, and the rest of us. Love 'em, bless their little cotton socks.!!
