THE WAY I SEE IT;
Singer = someone who ONLY sings on songs. they contribute nothing.
Artist = someone who performs in their songs [be it sing/rap] AND contribute to it [writing/producing/lyrics etc]

Oh, and I don't like the song :] Not my sorta music.
