Three days earlier than planned, we’ve got our first snipet of information on the new series from our insider.
The main build in the house has now been completed to create the new layout. However, it still needs to be decorated and furnished.
The line up the producers want is chosen, but there is still around 70 people left in the running following the latest call backs. The producers will test some of the more volatile characters further, and complete a test run before they decide ultimately who will go in.
The production teams will return to work over the coming weeks to prepare for the new series, with all of them being back at Elstree by the beginning of May.
This year will see the arrival of some new features in the house, which have been inspired by foreign Big Brother’s. Show bosses hope that they could help enforce the idea of gameplay.
Involvement of ex-housemates could be likely this year as the show marks its tenth anniversary. Similar to Big Brother 8 when Alex and Adele from BB3 visited the house.
Another change this year will involve Big Brother’s Big Mouth as Davina McCall is set to take on the presenting role on the show. Bosses are hoping to keep aspects of its current format whilst incorporating a format similar to the Xtra Factor post-elimination show.
Be aware that information can change drastically before the show goes on air, as we have seen in previous series.

if they had sense and looked at it logically, there would fix it
Live Feed and big Hype = Loads of viewers
No Live Feed and no big fuss = Viewers decrease.
Bring it back!

We had more choice back in 2002! Plus the main idea of BB was to watch them live on the net!..

According to the 'insider' we're looking at a June Launch
id rather a may launch, but if its june i want it to be right at the beginning like last year,
how reliable is this insider.

I don't want it to run into September.

im keeping my hopes up despite the insider, IBB are very stupid for posting all this on their website, their credibility is going to take a hard hit if none of this true. But its still very exciting! BB hype is slowly starting :elephant:

Liking the sound of bringing ex-housemates back for the 10th anniversary.
Maybe week 1, BB1 housemates. Week 2, BB2 housemates etc... (but only a couple from each year)
Glenn.

Its hard to say how reliable the insider is to be honest. But arent IBB prety good with insiders?

The 'insider' is someone on the comment system saying these launch dates and stuff. So it's probably difficult to judge their credibility.

First floor.
Tree house thingy.
More secret rooms..
People need to bitch in the house, a large house will bring that, and we get to see it all.

All these 'insiders' are probably just the site owner. Wouldn't be the first time that site makes up stories to get traffic

Who's going to watch the live feed anyway? Haven't people got better things to do?:P 24/7 live feed means we can watch it at anytime, at a time we want to..
Some might watch it longer, others might watch it for one hour, its called freedom of choice.
That is the whole point of BB.. To watch them live!
Not all want to watch it live, but some do...

This may be a stupid question, but I can't remember.
Will it still be live on C4 and E4 late nights?

It probably will, but I wouldn't put it past them to axe all live feed.

Well, I'm sure that not a lot of BB fans would have thought that the 24hour feeds would be axed

If they axe all live feed then the whole point of big brother is lost..
The idea of it is to watch them live, anytime! Plus to watch them live on the net and pick any cam!
To watch them, know what their doing, spying on them... Hence the name, Big Brother!
I think live feed will be the same as CBB6, some live feed during the day (2hours) on e4, then at 11.30pm/12am on e4 until 6am, 1am/2am until 4am on channel 4.

Ad revenue is falling all the time in a market that is strapped for cash. At some point the ad revenue doesn't meet the costs and at that point you can wave good bye to the live feed.
That is where we are at. Like it or lump it money is short in supply!
Glenn.

Apparantly there are now 2 insiders and one of them is revealing details of the logo, which is green apparently.
quote from insider
'Jealously comes out in only one colour'
GREEN!!!! THE LOGO'S GREEN!!!
Apparently:blush:

More green logo, because it's the only chuffing colour they haven't used yet and obviously avoided last year because of how crap it looks in most the fan eyes.

The logo's green every year on this forum. What's the obsession. lol

But James, you could be wrong.. You never know. :bouncy:
Unless you know it's wrong which could mean that you know what we don't know, or you might know that we know that you know or you know that we know that you know that we don't know what you know.. Maybe.
lmao!
I could've written that article and I've got no insider knowledge whatsoever
Note how they say "it could ann drastically change" ... in other words its all guesswork as usual
