Just to tell any Tracy Beaker fans that series 6 is being made and released next year.
In March 2009, the BBC announced that actress Dani Harmer would reprise the role of Tracy Beaker in a new series consisting of 13 episodes in which she would become a careworker at her former care home. The new series will be renamed as "Beaker's Back".
Plot
After a five- series casting over The Story of Tracy Beaker as a TV Series, Tracy Beaker is now back! Still portrayed by Dani Harmer, she is now a carer at The Dumping Ground. There will also be appearances from Lisa Coleman who portrays Cam Lawson, Tracy's foster mother.
The story begins with Tracy being broke, wanting to write a book called The Story of Tracy Beaker, she does not write it after she realises she can return to The Dumping Ground, her old foster home and get a job there. She helps solve problems with the children there.
Airing
Beaker's Back is assumed to be aired in 2009 or 2010, in a 13 episode series. The theme tune is thought to be the same as The Story of Tracy Beaker. Many children have wanted to know what happens to Tracy Beaker after Cam's adopting, and in this powerful sequel, all will be revealed. It is thought that the theme song will be the same.
