View Full Version : How many housemates should be in the final?

I think 4.
5 is one too many, 3 is one too few.
With four you've got enough to provide highlights for the final week, have two evictions plus the actual result during the finale show and keep it a bit less predictable.
Three would make the house feel a bit empty (unless the 4th was pulled out the night before the final) and five would mean short interviews and little highlights.

I Like 5 XD but they need to give more interview time. They need an extra hour on, giving each interview another 10 minutes XD

A three hour final? Nah casual viewers struggle with anything over 2.
No more than 4.
Five in the final week would be okay if there was a midweek eviction.

Its the number which worked best and works well with the time given for the finale
Also with 4 it makes it more of an event, any more it makes the final seem like a mass eviction night.

Five at the maximum, but ideally four - or fewer. And this time no surprise midweek evictions - let's just have 4 or 5 for the entire week.
The justification for the increase was to make the last week more entertaining - but it's just not happened. I certainly had fond memories of the final weeks with just 3 or 4 HMs back in BB1-3, but since they increase to 5, 6 and then 7 from BB4 onwards, there's been nothing of note about the final weeks at all.
7m were watching some of the highlights shows back in BB3 in the final week - that was entertaining!

Would be happy with 4.
No odd numbers.

4 At the very most, more than that the interviews are a lot of rushed rubbish. :hello:
