I don't think they can every be helped.. When released old habit could come back.
Plus it opens up the debate about should the public know if a paedophile is living in their area.

I agree, an old habit is easily taken up again.

"This is going to be upsetting isn't it. "

I think the most unsetling part will proberbly be how normal they are.

They are suprisingly honest, especially considering the camera's.

I know. I'm just watching and you can hear laughing and chatting, I know that maybe most are remorseful but they seem very calm, and I don't like watching it.

I don't think they're just released for no reason, but you can request to see if there are any convicts close by, I think.

Possibly, I think it has its bad points as im sure some people would target these people and even possibly kill them and they may not have done anything for 25 years...

Yeah, he was possibly the most uncomfortable to watch.

I know someone said the most disturbing thing is how "normal" they seem - but he didn't come across as normal at all.

No he didnt at all.... he seemed to try and be over convincing but also got things muddled when she should have been denying is actions not getting muddled at all

I am not watching it at the mo as I am at work, but will watch it later. My comment about them being normal is more a reaction to the way the press portray them. But as a rule they hold down normal jobs, live in normal estates, live normal lives.

Yes, I do agree. From watching it, it becomes evident that outside the rehab context it would be impossible to recognise their deviancy.

Surprising thing about the documentary is that many of them are very honest about it. Though I guess that's because the other ones won't want to speak on camera.
