I think it is sick why kill something to get real fur when fake fur available.

Never.

Is why tigers are almost extinct in the wild and barbary lions.

Along with using parts for Rugs, herbal medicines (claws i think)

Teeth for jewellry etc.

Is it wrong to take fur from an animal that has died from natural causes?

Don't really care.

I have a sneaking suspicion that, given the opportunity, you'd find foxes wearing human skin on woodland runways if the roles were reversed.

I would personally never wear it but I don't see a problem if the animal has already died and hasn't just been killed to get the fur

Of course.....Reason because it encourages people to want real fur and thus kill living animals for it.....

I wouldn't wear fur, but if an animal has diednaturally I don't see a problem.

Its one of the most disgusting, heartless things a human can do. Theres a fur coat store near me when I saty in Crete and every time i walk past the window i feel a little bit more tempted to spit on the window. if only i was rich and powerful, it would have been burned down a long time ago.

Some animals are actually skinned alive. Same goes for people killing dolphins for their top fin to make in soups. one of the most shocking and disturbing videos i've ever watched was one with about 200 dying dolphins lying in a warehouse surrounded by blood, all with their top fins cut off. words cant describe how horrific it was to watch.

someday i'll hopefully be able to do something about this.

Remember in CBB4. Pete Burns got his fir coat arrested because it contained Gorrilla fir?

Well, most fake fur comes from animals that are being killed to eat anyway, or natural causes, so if it's going spare than we misewell make use of it.

As much as I'm an animal lover, in my house we have 2 stuffed dear heads, 2 stuffed pheasants, one other bird and a foxes tail!

The 2 dears were killed for meat, the pheasants are in a box, a friend of mum and dad had them... the other bird is in a box too, all 3 are road kill, but still in 1 piece, and the foxes tail was cut off the dead fox from the hunt for me xD

/offtopic a bit.. xD

Fur is fine if it comes from natural causes or from animals that are being used for other reasons, just like why leather is more acceptable, because we use cow for meat and then for their skin. Killing an animal just for its fur is wrong... I suppose.

No.

But that ain't the problem
In China they Eat Tiger bits thinking it gives them power
of course it does no such thing.

In Africa
some locals will Kill rare Animals
to get big cash.

Those Locals that do that
need Killing.

If you wear fir from animals that have died naturally you are encouraging the use of fir which will result in animals being killed for it..

It is totally and completely wrong to encourage the wearing of fur no matter what the conditions......
