I am thinking of starting a project about redesigning BB AU, From Graphics, Hosts and must importantly The House.

Big Brother 9.0: Is Here!

BB 9.0 will have a very viewer orientated format with a return to the simpler (minimal twists) style but still having a few twists.:laugh:
Here's a Quick Overview:

Series Length: 8-9 weeks (56-63 days)
Number of Housemates: 12-14 housemates on launch, more (3-6) added over the course of the series.

Compound at Dreamworld expanded (how you ask? you'll find out!) Will Post house pics as it is built. :thumbs2:

Next: Who will host?? You'll Find Out!:wink:
If you guys have any thoughts on who should host, post 'em!

I'd stick with Jackie O - dumping Kyle of course. I think given a shot on her own she could actually be rather good. Certainly wouldn't bring back Gretel - by the time she left it really was her "time to go!"

My new take on the house would see the house expanded slightly, (possible second story!!) with a bright colour scheme, wacky design features, hopefully making the house stand out from BB past. :bouncy:

I think you're being pretty generic.

One thing I would suggest is making it really open plan - for the last few years (since BB3 really) the house has quite clearly been divided into separate kitchen, dining and living areas - so making it much more open plan than usual would make it feel very different.

I like the logo though may I suggest shrinkingit to the same size as the typeface and putting it to the right of the text.

I think the presenters should be Bree Amer, Ryan Fitzgerald, and Mike Goldman, god, those trio are the best presenters, I loved them during the FNL when I partly watched BB8.

Can't decide whether I love or hate the logo - but agree with Digital Sid it would probably look a hell of a lot better if smaller.

I like the idea of replacing a human eye with the camera lens.... ooo spooky but then you chopped it up into tiny pieces so it looks too busy.

I'm Back! Sorry i haven't posted in a few days, but every time i tried to post something else interrupted!! I must say i have watched the feedback closely though (through my phone) and i must disagree with you on the fact the the program is not very good, because it is! I've created 12 BB-style on it ( i had an older version of the same program) and i think it suits well.:puzzled:

the new titles , they have a mechinic look slightly like BB03's titles. Also featuring new theme remix of a electronic, fast and upbeat version of the original theme.

If anyone has the original theme let me know, also if you have any programs i could use to create these it would help heaps!

Notes: The whole living space is open, with that two-tone yellow wall to your left runs the length of the main space,
The house has a surprise upstairs a very BIG Surprise...
The wooden floor is the same thoughout the space to create flow through the house.

The lounge area has enough space to seat 12-16 housemates. The middle LCD screen is for the eviction annoucements but the other two??

I agree with Glenn - it just looks rather horrible, and it's difficult to get beyond the colours in judging your design. I think the program you are using is letting you down.

What might be best is for you to get it all together and post it in one go, along with a decent overhead shot, so we can judge the whole house plan. At the moment it's just rather random shots of tables and chairs which aren't particularly worthy of comment to be honest.

The dining room's better than the living room (:yuk:) but it's still crap. Use Sketchup, that program your making it on now is awful!

I Have been fiddling on sketch up and i have a few questions, can anyone help?
1. How Can i add lighting in sketchup?

2.How Do you stop interior walls marking exterior walls?

3.What's the best way to build a kitchen?

4. Do you guys build your own furniture, or use 3D Warehouse?

If anyone can help me, i'd be very, very greatful.
