My grandad's died

My grandad(dad's dad) died last night in his sleep,he was 89.R.I.P.

So much for things can't get worse! But that has to be it now-big events happen in 3's-my uncle dying,my mum going into hopistal and now my grandad.

My condoleances Laura. My grandma died last month. She was 95 but had alzheimers.
Its different in my culture, we celebrate the passing of real elderly people. Not all out celebration, but the funeral isnt usually sad.

Anyways, I am sorry for your loss, and I wish your mom a quick recovery.

Thanks guys. Funeral was today,god the country is different. At my uncle's we actually got bleeped at for slowing down the traffic. Down the country every single person in a car blessed themselves going past the herst(sp). And when we were walking behind all the cars on the other side of the road all stopped till we had pasted. It was a lovely service and it was nice to see most of that side.

My dad was real good and booked us into a gorg hotel for a bit of a break-a room each! Left my pillow behind though,grrness.
