Cut Marcus Bentley's voice over i say! its sounds tacky and makes the highlight shows seem dull and boring! i never liked his voice and to be honest it is over used and we dont really need a voice over! his voice is not powefull enough!

Personally think if there is going to be a voice over then it should just be used for the start - stating “previously on big brother” (many shows have a previously at the start to remind viewers of previous events which have happened and so they can catch up) and at the end have a “NEXT TIME ON BB” - they did this once in big brother 9 and it worked (but it should be better with music and sharp scenes making you want to watch next time!

similar to BGT or Xfactor etc.....

e.g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icpd6lwKZmk

this set's the mood for entertainment shows and draw's the viewer in! time for a change big brother. have the voice over similar to the one channel 4 used for black Friday! we need a powerful evil voice! or even a woman’s voice? like the used to use for when a housmates was leaving the house and was evicted? this is turn sounded much more professional and makes the show more dramatic and bigger in theory!
any one agree?

if there had to be one it would be this! Listen to his voice…………

we need this for big brother!

anyone agree? new format/new change were promised????

How disappointing - the title gave me such hope. His narration of the show is one of my main problems with it in recent years - they need reminding that "a picture tells 1000 words".

Edited your title...

I disagree, his voiceover is iconic.

So not only do you scrap one of the most recognisable voices and iconic parts of the show but you have no narration whatsoever to explain to us what's happened inbetween each highlight? to read the phone numbers at the end? to tell us when the show's back during the adverts.

I'm sorry, but Marcus should stay and will stay, what needs changing is his script however:

"All the housemates, are in the house"

No **** sherlock.

I never said that - some narration would be needed, but they should only narrate when it adds to the programme. In recent years he;s been telling us things that didn't need explaining, like reminding us four times an episode that Dave and Reg had an argument 17 hours and 22 minutes ago.

And yes, they shouldn't be afraid to scrap one of the most recognisable and iconic voices on TV - because he's become a complete parody of himself. His accent and diction is ridiculous now and so over played - you go back to the early series and his accent wasn't anywhere near as bad.

Producers can always ask him to tone down his voice and as I said the narration is written for him, that can easily be cut down.

Plus his calmer voice in the early years suited those series better.

I don't mind his voice. I think it would be kinda strange without it.

Like the format ideas, not the voiceover change though.
