TiBB's Photography Competition::Week Two Theme

Week one saw Firewire off, and now we are left with 11 contestants left!

Rules
- You are not allowed to copy images off of the net, I WILL track the original source down of the image if I'm suspicious, and believe me don't go there.
- They must be taken by you, you are allowed to recieve advice from others but they themselves are not allowed to take the picture.
- Late entries will not be excepted.
- It can be a existing photo that you have taken, but preferably a newer one would be better.
- It has to be a still image.
- You can't show other people your picture before it is posted.

Rules On Editing;
You ARE allowed to;;
- Resize
- Crop
- Change the image to full B&W or Full SEPIA, not a mixture of the two or any other color.
- Sharpen

You are NOT allowed to;;
- Use lighting effects.
- Blurring.
- Enhance The Picture. ( Change the contrast/brightness.)
- You can not use effects such as, Overlay, Lighten, Screen etc... on any picture.
- No text, or borders.
- No effects such as changing the exposure, selective colour etc..

The Theme
The second theme is going to be a little harder. For the first theme, it did not require much thinking, and was quite easy to get inspiration. This theme requires a lot of thinking, and will challenge each player, so we can really get the competition going. The theme for week two is Heat. Not as in "The Heat magazine", but as in the Hot/warm kind of heat. How you include an essence of heat into your photo's, is totally up to you!

Players Can discuss what they are doing in this thread, But MUST NOT show their picture to anyone else. Your photographs must be in by Saturday 2nd at 5pm by u2u to LewisLeona, so i can post them in a live show at 6pm. Please give your photo a title and answer this question when you send your photo to me, "What was your inspiration"?

When i say heat, it does not neccasarliy have to be fire. It could be anything you asscociate with the word heat

Ive got some good pictures of fireworks, and a sunrise when i was on holiday. So im abit torn. I might also think of something new.

Well, i would say temperature is something to do with heat, so do it. But remember, the judges are judging on relativity to the theme, not just the picture. Personally i would play safe, and take a picture of something red, but you can go for cold aswell, just make sure you explain it well ;)
