I came out a few years ago. I was just wandering- If you came out as gay or are on the verge of doing so- Did your parents react in a good way.

How did your friends react? Did it change the way people thought of you?

This topic is of no importance really- more of being a nosey bugger.

I came out as bi recently - my friends didn't mind because a lot of my friends have already come out as bi/gay. To be honest we outnumber the straight people haha.

As for my family - my mum's the only one who knows at the moment. She just asked me and I said yeah, and again she doesn't really mind. I'm lucky I guess.

I'm still in the closet to my family, but y'know I think they've probably guessed, I mean I went to see Hannah Montana The Movie today with a group of 5 girls LOL. Some of my friends know though :)

My family & friends all know. My parents found out through Myspace when I they looked & it said "In A Relationship" & "Gay" so they gave me the huge talk (we'll always love you no matter what you are) and that's how they found out.

My friends knew when I started checking out guys with them ahaa, and then it flew around the whole school so really, everyone knows. :flowers: Single at the moment though, flirted with someone called Misam yesterday though, I like him. :cheer:

Well i never actually told my Mum i was bisexual looool. She was trying some clothes on and she needed a belt to go with it, i was like "Try this one, you'll look great" and then she went "God could you get any gayer!". I just looked at her and laughed. Well all my friends know I'm bi, including my gf, but my family don't know. I think my mum can tell though. She went through a phase last year where every night she asked me if I was gay. And on top of that, my cousin who I was close friends with told her mum I was bi, which of course reached my mum. I denied it all the way though, because I don't like my mum knowing anything about my life. lol. I'll tell her some day though, on her deathbed or something. That'll certainly finish her off. ;)
