Urgh I hate DS. I go on there cos there's a Luke and Bex thread on there and the people are lovely. But some of the people are just evil and they have too many flipping rules!

I was just over their to see how much they made of the fake pics and when this site was mentioned, they started calling us saddos because we were discussing BB a month before it starts.
It seemed like an ongoing thing between DS and TiBB

I joined once the same time i joined TiBB and I said something there and like 20 people went to attack everything i was saying. I was like so shocked at how friendly the people from TiBB were when I first started posting about BB.
I think TiBB is much more user friendly too. I couldnt work my way around DS

But the one think I like about it is, no one can really get out of line over there. If you are insulting or brea the rules, they ban you automatically. I think if you get used to it, its actually pretty good. On Tibb, people can call you names, and everything, nothing happens. The only thing is, its not very user friendly, and it goes too fast when BB is on!

As I posted in reply to that topic on D.S. just now, TiBB is a tv fan site and thus attracts mostly teenagers who haven't been watching the show long or who are just interested in the entertainment side.

D.S. is a media site aimed at discussing everything from ratings to advertising to ofcom regulations to comissions and axings and thus attracts mostly attracts media studies students and adults interested in the way the media works.

The people on D.S. aren't old, just older and more serious. Of course they're going to react badly if teenagers who aren't interested in most the site's content post about things irrelevant to most there.

I think DS is a little...negative for me lol. I feel like i argue with way too many people on the site over my opinions. It's similar on here but in a completely different way. On here, people (sometimes) respect your opinion and agree to disagree, but on DS, they have to prove that their opinion is right all the time. I never go on any more :sad:

I like DS for the threads, its more informative, but here the members are so mucb better and friendlier, maybe beacuse we all around the same sort of age. But the whole thing about TIBB members not watching for long is a bit incorrect because lots of members have watched from the start, I watched from BB2. Only some newer members have watched up until about 2-3 years ago.
