View Full Version : 27th May - according to the Independent!

Generally more believable than the Daily Star!

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/coming-soon-tv-goes-to-the-moon-and-back-1678340.html

Be warned: reality TV behemoth Big Brother returns for a barrel-scraping 10th run on 27 May (Channel 4).

As with all rumours though possible it's just lifted from the forums, though I'd imagine the Independent are more likely to go to C4 for a date rather than trusting some randomer on Digital Spy.

It was posted on D.S. last week I think, I doubt it will launch then. The staff are late back.

If they put this on AFTER BGT for the Wendsday,Thursday and Friday,it would be perfect.

BGT isn't on the Wednesday - it's the Champions League Final.

Worth noting too that Desperate Housewives finishes on the 20th May.

As for other nights, the only thing really running to the next week is Extreme Male Beauty on Thursdays at 10pm, which should finished on 28th May - but hey C4 would be stupid enough to put the second episode of BB up against BGT at 9pm.

Friday nights are free - annoyingly they've been relatively free pretty much since Celebrity Big Brother finished, yet C4 are still holding Ugly Betty back until the summer and will probably screw up the eviction schedule even more to accommodate it, despite it rarely getting more than 1.5m viewers last autumn when it aired without BB.

The Independent would know nothing about BB that they didn't read elsewhere. It's not like they actually give a damn about the show.

We are better off waiting for "insider" sources on the forums. At least some of them have a track record of proven accurate tips.

They critcised it pretty heavily in the early days I believe.

Taking an interest in the media is not sad at all Annie.

No more so, if not less so than posting daily on a forum for a show that is not starting for over a month which you are joining us in doing love.

TiBB isnt just BB. And I rarely actually talk about BB as you will find from my posts. I reguarly post on TiBB all year round. For X Factor. Dancing on Ice. Britains Got Talent. General Chat. And the TiBB Games.

If you are going to be stuck up about BB then why post in the BB forum? Go post in the hot guy thread sweetie.

Not necessarily. As I said staff are only just going back, so they'd have to work pretty bloody fast to have it on air by then.

Why was that poster having a go at DigitalSid for being a bit knowlegable on the scheduling side of things?

I think it's great that Sid has taken interest in that side of things. I'm quite interested in it too.

So why are you Annie calling him "sad"? You don't even know the person. It's totally out of order. But I bet you'll say: "Oh well I have a lot of post counts so it's ok". That's the type of answer I've seen on this forum quite a few times recently.

It's true though, being on a forum full stop is rather sad, no matter what your posting.

21 Days to go!

It's not confirmed though.

If Channel 4 schedule the launch show during Britain's Got Talent week or against the Apprentice they are stupid.

I still think the launch won't be until at least June 4th.

You clearly want Big Brother to get slaughtered in the ratings then.

As far as I know schedules are only confirmed two weeks in advance.

If 27th May is true it should show next week in the listings.

No, I didn't start the argument. It was between DigitalSid and Annie.

I thought I'd offer my support to DigitalSid who was the victim of a attack by ANnie. I don't think it's very nice for someone to call another person "sad" for just being a bit knowledgable.

I don't know how you can contrue my views as being trouble making, when I wasn't directly involved with that rift. I was just offering my opinion.

Probably - but they'll do it no favours by scheduling it against the Champions League final, Britain's Got Talent or The Apprentice.
