I hope not. A pointless thing to introduce some new ideas into BBUK.

I think head of house could work, as long as they dont do it like they did for bb9

I think Head of House could definitely work if they adapted it better.
They should give immunity to HoH. I think they did that last year.
But also HoH should have the right to nominate one person for eviction. The remainder of housemates choose the other person.
Now, that is proper control!

One of the biggest mistakes in Celebrity Big Brother was scrapping HoH after just one week. All week the housemates were talking about it and how they wanted to be the next one, the viewers were speculating about it - and then the producers just decided not to bother.
I think it should return, with the HoH getting their own room and immunity. How it affects other aspects, such as nominations, can be interpreted in a number of ways - but it'll only work if they choose one format and stick to it throughout.
Personally I'd opt for the HoH choosing one nominee, with the other HMs voting for the second (as in Brazil), but if the producers aren't that brave I'd at least give the HoH the Power of Veto, so the HMs nominate in the usual way but then the HoH can (if they want to) save a nominee and put up a replacement of their own choice.

I really do think that now Big Brother is at death's door that the producers should try some new things to attract more viewrers. I was really excited at the thought of a head of house last year, but since the HoH had virtually no power it was really dissapointing. I agree with you Brekkie. If they are going to introduce a new role, then dont make it seem so pointless.

Shameless plug, but I've outlined how the HoH format could play out each week over in the Fan Designs Forum: http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=112612

If it is back I hope its not in the same format as it was last year
The producers obviously tried to freshen the show up with it but spectacularly failed
I would like to see HOH play a big part in the game. Maybe having immunity from being nominated and also choosing one person to face eviction.
