Personally I think no, but perhaps there should be an option to turn it off on the control panel to those who don't like it like Karma. Then everyone would be happy.

I don't think it's a cause and effect thing though. Like, people with a high post count don't necessarily have low post quality.

Even if post count was abolished, people would post pointless things just to be seen more in the forum.

Me too.... I might have thousands of posts but I know at least 15,000 of them are rubbish, and 9,000 are probably okay, 750 are better than average and about 250 ot them are really any good.

Post count say's nothing about the poster.
