Now this problem thread is me!
Haha, well I always thought I was Straight; I honestly had no feelings for Males at all untill just before Christmas when I got my first 'Male Crush'. Obviously I didn't think much of it, but now I am like it with so many boys, and proberly less girls. Is this just a kind of typical teenage phase, or am I Bi?
Also, I have a really strong crush at the moment haha; I haven't been like it before. I basically stalk them on facebook haha and am always thinking of them. So tips on getting rid of short term crushes :p (And no, it couldn't ever be more for various reasons)

Why do you need to apply a label to it? I know it's a bit cliché, but sexuality is FLUID. If you give yourself a label, you could be restricting happiness. Like if you say you're straight, then come across a man crush, you'll just think "meh I'm straight, it's nothing"
My motto is just to do whatever the hell you want, if it makes you happy, it makes you happy. Who cares what label is given as a result.

I would be happy doing that haha; but what about everyone else? I suppose it would be a bit of a shock to everyone if I suddenly just started getting with boys haha without explaining.

Why? Do you wanna live your life and dictate your happiness cos of what other people will think of it? If you must give it a label, I guess it's closer to "pansexual" which means you sleep with whoever makes you happy regardless of their sexuality, gender or status etc.

I had a situation not unlike this awhile back. I had accepted that I was gay and was happy and dealing with it fine. Then I fell totally in love with a girl and just couldn't understand what was happeneing it was like everything I had worked to undersrand and coem to terms with had just gone out the window. So now I've decided that I am bi, but tbh, thats really only for other people's benefit so if they ask i can give them a straight (no pun intended) answer. I just see myself as me and don't like to put a tag on it.

Haha, if you feel under pressure, just come out as bisexual? If that's what makes you happy, so your friends know. But just live your life seeking happiness, regardless of any tags or labels as a result of it.

Can be differed though.
You have to check (haha) if you can become turned on by them. Otherwise its just feelings of affection.

hahah. Well, for them I suppose it is largely affection unlike other crushs. Like its not all for the looks and what 'I'll get' like it is with some girls and stuff.
(They are a he BTW)

lol sorry, it just came over me, you walked right into my trap. watch out, next time i'll pull the gay card. :thumbs2:
I meant 'can' in my post lol.
Seriously Sam; don't label yourself - you sound like you worry a lot about what other people think, or what they might think - you won't know what they think until you actually do something. Don't live in fear; your true friends will stick by you regardless of who you are. :bouncy:

Can't help I'm afraid. Mine developed into a long-term one :bored:
Try and convince yourself of their bad qualities.

Sam I wish I HAD a short term crush,I don`t like anyone at all ,its been so long since I have.I mean yeah you know I love my ex but as for crushes I have forgotton what they are.As for your problem don`t worry ,you don`t need to go making any 'decisions' ,you will just know, eventually, just have fun and go with the flow, its the only way you can find out if its a phase or not.
Sorry my advice is shite

lol. and what would the gay card be ?
I used to call myself Bi, because I'm attracted to both boys and girls, but then I went to a lecture on sexuality and I realised that by labelling myself I was restricting myself so I don't do it anymore. I'm just me. :) And I've been in an amazing relationship with a girl for nearly 11 months now, and I've never been happier! I think anyone who labels themselves should just think of how limiting it makes them. It's like if a man says he's "gay" and then he falls in love with a woman, he brushes it off as just something stupid, when it could have been his soulmate. :(
