Im new to the site and am going to be here for the next few weeks/months through Big Brother.

(PS - how do you upload a avator? i go to upload in profile and it comes up with '0')

To upload an avatar just scroll to the bottom of your control panel.:thumbs:

Ive managed to upload it to tinypic and just put the direct link :hello: and it works :cheer:

Is they anything i should be aware of before posting in main forums? restrictions?

Welcome. Not sure what is wrong with the avatar... make sure the file size isn't too big? Or you can you can upload it to tinypic or somewhere similar? Edit - Looks like it is working now. :thumbs:

Just make sure you post threads in the correct sub-forums, otherwise certain members can be a bit snappy. :hug: Oh and make sure if you're posting a new thread, it hasn't been posted already.:thumbs:
