Looks like the race row has finally killed of BB

With people complaining to ofcom whenever they dnt agree with something a housemate does then producers are worried about offending people so when they try and reign things in the fans start moaning because the they think the producers are killing it off. Fans need to lay off Big Brother and either have a really good controversial topic of discussion in a BB series or be happy that theyve listened to your complaints and are being careful not to offend you again. Its a lose lose situation.

They shouldn't be worried about offending people though. Nearly five thousand complaints were made about BB9, and all but one - a resolved comment relating to the broadcast of a swear word pre-watershed - were not upheld.

And I doubt many actual fans of the show complain.

Its not the fans, its the casual viewers
The show has been so successful because of outrageous, controversial moments which wouldn't be on any other show. Of course this is going to offend some people and if producers try to stay away from controversy then Big Brother is just another reality show.

C4 killed BB. Everyone else, including OFCOM, had moved on from the race row now - yet C4 are still letting it overshadow everything they do with Big Brother.

They had a chance to draw a line under it last year with BB9, and again this year, but no - they just reluctantly sell us the same product rather than attempting to rekindle the fans love for the show.
