How is this for embarrassing - the Bulgarian version of Celebrity Big Brother raised approximately £750,000 during their latest series for charity - more than BB8, BB9 and the latest Celeb BB put together.

Figures in C4's annual report last week showed BB9 raised £300,000 for charity, the equivalent of just 3 million votes - but up on the £200,000 (2m votes) received during BB8, but still well down on the 11m or so votes received during BB7, which raised £1.3m for charity.
