OK this is the 2nd time ive had my design ideas taken by Dan eatock.

BB10 eye is a direct rip off of my concept of the identity theme

With the amount of fan-made logos about some co-incidentally similar designs are inevitable. If you were worried about that happening, why post them in the first place?

I wasnt worried James, and its really a coincidence isnt it!!

Im flattered sure but if people want to use my concepts then maybe they should offer me a job because i need a good one

No offence but a fingerprint design is very easy to come up with, I thought about making a black and white one a few days ago (before I saw yours) And so is a black and yellow pinwheel design. Black and yellow being obvious colours to choose because of warning cordons etc. Also the fire design in your avatar is an easy design to come up with, though I think it's excellent

That said, I prefer your fingerprint eye, but would like it in a different coour. I dont believe that you've been ripped off, but it goes to show that great minds think alike and you have real talent and yes, you probably should be in design. The designs are simple and making something simple look so good isn't easy.

If you look back on one of your threads (The design with the camera lens) I said then that it was one of my favourite fan made designs ever. I also voted for you in the fanmade design competition. So I'm not being horrible, I really think this is coincidence. Or you are actually Daniel Eatock.

I disagree bbnut sorry, its common knowledge dan eatock looks on here...he loves fan made designs hell he even asked fans to post them on his website for BB8

I still aint gunna believe that this is the BB10 eye untill they reviel hopefully 2moz.

I recon you should do the logo's for Endemol now, ring em.

Tbh, it does look the same, but yours is more finger printy, and the 'officail' bb one looks more, i dont know, differnt, the lashes dont look finger printy at all

i consulted someone in 2006 over it but i cant do anything because the design was posted on a public forum...so its public property

you should copyright or trademark it online next time.
Daniel Eatock is good at ripping people off. Last years eye was based on a fan made eye someone had posted on his website. He needs to get his own imagination.
