Priority Access?

I think it would be very helpfull for all TiBBians (<lol) if we had a priority access system so when there is too much traffic on TiBB (i.e. launch night) members always get on first and non-members / visitors have to wait. I think its only fair for the members who have been on here for years to get through first to post on the boards. I dont know if it is possible but i think it would be helpfull.

The forum is mainly for Big Brother and half the members with over 1000 posts don't seem to care about the show anymore, whereas newer members obviously do- so if anything it should be the members who want to talk about Big Brother who can get on and the ones who don't that can't. But everyone is equal here so no.

Im mainlt talking about non-members and visitors who cant post anyway. I think ACTUAL posting members should get through and i think its only fair the longer a members been here the more deserving they are of getting onto the forum.

You are no better poster than anyone. Frankly the people who have the biggest amount of posts per day, are the once who posts the most pointless stuff. So they shouldnt have priority over no one!! Im actually suggesting improvements for the forum and members who have been loyal to if for years.
All im asking for is for members who have been on TiBB for years to get onto the foum which they are on every day of the week over people who ARE NOT MEMBERS..

Thats what i meant. I think the bit where i said the +10000 post thing confused people. Sorry. I was trying to emphasise that people that have been here for that long dont deservr to not get through.

I don't know if I'm right in saying this... but it's not actually possible.. the server crashes - and nobody can get in - then it gets quicker and quicker when people start to give up etc.. it's equal for everyone. This is just non-sense-ical!

Ugh, it's a terrible idea. We were on our old server last year on launch night, and that's why it crashed.

I think our new server can cope just fine.. if it gets heavy it'll be turned off for guests. All registered members will have the same access speeds.
