I personally am starting to think it is real. more and more things are happening at my grandads house and its really freaking me out!

Yes. My house is built on the site of an old Hospital :S And my house attick creeks at night even though its only 9 nears old. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

Seriously though, theres too many pictures and events in this world that point to strange things like ghosts. I've personally experienced something like that when I was in a castle for a wedding party, it involved the top floor and lots of books being thrown at the door. When we went outside there was nobody there.

Plus we were on a kind of ghost hunt, and the castle is apparently haunted by lady Lumley. So, it was a scary thing..and I personally believe in ghosts :)

I watched this ghost thing not long ago..
There was a picture of a family 100 years ago at this castle place for a holiday. they took a picture this ghost wearing
a red cape was in the backround. 100 years later a family went there too. took a picture for landscape.
and there it was again leaning over the bars.

Loads of grand parent related stuff has happened in this house, it was theirs (we inherited it). Some are quite funny actually

I heard my nana speaking through the PC speakers once, PC wasn't even on, speakers were unplugged from the back and the switch was off at the wall as well, it was also her birthday .... I can also swear I seen her in the kitchen one time :joker:

My granddad was a heavy smoker, noone else smokes in the house or had done. Every now and again smoke used to come from his chair (once he was dead obv) which was odd ...

Nana said before she died she'd come back every now and again and play practical jokes around her birthday/anniversary. One year the door slammed shut and the handle fell broke. Windows were all shut, doors were too so there was no wind. Nothing that springs to mind could have caused it.

Just small things really that don't really have an explanation

The freakiest thing i ever heared was when my Sisters Fiance told me that after his nanas funeral when he was 17 they went back to her house to pack some things away, but as they were leaving both him and his mum swore on thier lifes that they saw her behind the net curtain in her bedroom window. The scary thing is that they didnt tell each other untill later on that night because they both thought they were seeing things. It turns out they both saw her in the exact same position wearing exactly the same thing.... freaky.

When my granny died we were in her house and we were saying a prayer and there was 3 big knocks on the door and the lights flickered and my aunty fainted =(

well when we lived in a block of flats years after this man passed away you could hear his hobnailed boots walking up the stairs and smell his pipe

when we moved to a house the poltergist moved hairbrushes to places they would never be like on top of kitchen cupboards and would also move all pictures and mirrors so they were never straight i dont mean like normal moving but really on a tilt so they almost sideways

and then when i was placed in a hostel when my daughter was tiny we heard stuff on the baby moniter, her lullaby nightlight would turn on and play on its own even when not plugged in :shocked: and the tv would randomly start on a channel even when plug was off

Ok lol well back in 2004 my grandma died in a house fire. My grandad is still alive and we used to go and visit him loads because he was upset as most people will be. nowadays we go up like everys half term because its easier. ANYWAY ( 2 thigs have happend to me) the fist was during the day time. i was upstairs in the room i stay in and i was with my mum.I looked out to the hallway and saw a white shape go up 2 steps and go into my gandads room. I thogut it was my sister and followed it and nothing was there! i wasnt scared but thought wtf.
Next thing was scary one night i was in the bed room i share with my sisters and i wear an eye mask ( because i think the house is haunted and dont like to look around) and i look at my sister and see a black figure stood over her! i wasnt scared but i wiped my eyes and it was gone! later that night i abxolutly crapped myself because i heard footteps coming from my grandads rroom to out room. I ran thought to my mums room and was in histaric from fear. I nearly fainted and all.
Anyway thats basically what happend x

and in the same house I have felt something touch my arm and when i have showers i always hear stuff

Yes, last week me and my friends were walking a friend to her dad's office, she told us she saw a ghost standing 1/2m away from us. *shudders*. And in RE we always chat about stuff like this and so many people in my class have seen stuff.
I try not to think about it though it gives me the heebie jeebies =/

Ive got to many of these. My family is seriously haunted.

When my sisters were younger (they are older than me) they shared a bunk-bed in thier room.
The freky thing is that my sister woke up in the night and almost s**t herself becasue she saw a lurching dark figure at the other side of the room. The scary bit is that she heard my sister on the bottom bunk gasp loudly asif she saw it too. The next morning my other sister didnt remember anything about it :/

I blame my house. It must be the newest haunted house ever.

When my mummy's Dad was dying she went into the kitchen and her dead granny appeared and said we are going to take him Roisin(my mums name)
And her dad died a hour later :/

if you think its your granma you really shouldn't be scared ... I find it quite nice to know that I could see mine again and that maybe shes there. I was staying at my friends house a few months ago with two other friends. I was asleep on the bed and one of the friends was watching t.v cos she couldn't sleep. Omfg. This weekend I was at my grandads again and last night was the scariest night yet. I was trying to sleep (but i couldnt) and I heard footsteps come out of no where and go into the bathroom. No one came back out again. Kiether Sutherland (or however you spell it) plays a suspended NY cop, who gets a job as a night watchman at a burned down department store/ previous mental hospital. I cant tell you too much without ruining it, but sufice to sat there are 'evil souls' or 'demons' of the previous meantal patients inside the mirrors, but they can kill people if they look into them.
