Am I one of the few people that wasnt all that surprised by this? MP's are on a fixed salary of about 60k a year. Thats a good salary for most but its by no means makes them rich. They were bound to fiddle expenses it's just a shame it got so out of hand.

Someone made a good point that benefit cheats are prosecuted and sent to prison. Are we going to do the same for these MP's?

They all knew what was going on and did nothing...only now are they calling for sackings just to bloody get votes! If they werent found out, noone would have ever called for change!

Arista sees everything through Utopian eyeglasses. He better think about all these posts he's making, because if the Cons get in, the spotlight is on them, and they will get beat up the same way Labour is. Politicians are corrupt. Plain and simple.

last time I checked Daily Telegraph salaries aren't paid by tax payers so they don't need to be publicly accountable.

But there is a moral accountability here

Errr YES because it's all very well paying it back once you're caught but she wouldn't have done if she hadn't been caught. It's like being caught walking out wearing a jacket in Marks and Spencer, and going, oh okay then, i'll pay for it... it's like no! you should be arrested!
