Greetings. Surprised to see me?
Given Ross' temporary hiatus, and my permanent fabulousness, I've been given the reigns, and the permission, to host a third series of Elimination.
Unfamiliar with the concept? Do not fear ;)
Brief Description:
- Between 15 and 20 forum members will be given a series of tasks and be required to nominate several times, all the while discussing about anything they please in a specifically-designed "Live Topic"
- I shall supply you with a few tasks to keep yourselves occupied.
- The other forum members will vote on your security in the game, with one of you eventually being crowned as the winner.
The prize?
Endless respect and a forum award similar to the ones I and 'marcjswp' possess.
And when does the game start?
I'll be starting the game at the end of August. A specific date is not set yet, but will be finalised nearer the time.
I've been a contestant before, can I apply again?
Go for it. But I want mostly new contestants. If you have been one before, state in your application which series you were in, and how well (or bad :tongue:) you did.

I can't have it on whilst Big Brother is still at its height, really, as the forum would be ridiculously active - makes it difficult for the mods and all that jazz.

With BB being on, the members in the comp will have the Elimination bug and post much more, plus many members will be on their summer break and will stay up later..
E1 got around 400 pages, E2 got around 200 pages... E1 started early August. Best to start E3 in July or 1st August.

I understand where you're coming from - but it'd be difficult to moderate at peak forum activity. I'm not saying Elimination would require a lot of attention, but there is always the potential for things to turn sour if a result doesn't favour with someone.

Both of you ****, Elimination is above you both.
We have two more moderators, I think they'd cope with it being earlier...
I can't apply; I go to Uni in early September, Elimination 3 starts way too late in August for me to even bother applying/watch. :(

Well E1 was on during BB9 and worked fine with no problems! Plus Elimination is just one thread.
