1) Why have you continued with having 2 eviction shows on Fridays? The ratings have been terrible for the late shows usually.

2) Why do the live shows always finish about 5 minutes early (sometimes nearly 10 mins early)?

3) How many housemates going in for launch?

4) Any hints about what the house looks like?

1. Its just how its been the last few years. Plus it gives the housemates that little bit longer in house before they are thrown from its doors.

This insider lark is easy.

1. C4 are stubborn.

2. The reason actually is to do with advertising restrictions - ITV, C4 and Five are limited on the amount of adverts they can take between 6pm and 11pm so hence usually try to screen a full block (three and a half minutes) of ads as soon after 11pm as possible. Doesn't excuse the live streaming at the end though - just crashing straight to the credits would help hold the audience

3. A genuine insider wouldn't tell you. I'd guess 16.

4. Different.

But in recent years after the eviction announcement, the housemates have left just a few minutes afterwards anyways.

The second shows are not live, they're delayed.

So why not just combine the two shows? :conf:

I think the only time i would ever believe someone who is claiming to be an insider is if they gave me some detailed info about somthing which proved to be 100% true down to the finest detail.

I suppose any one can claim they are an insider, but Jacob if it is true you say that there are 16 housemates? Are they in hiding yet or if not when do they go into hiding? How many extras are going in at later dates? I know some are replaced if they walk? Can you name one female and one males first names?

There's an insider on DS who PMed me some BB9 info days before the press got hold of it.

S/he also confirmed the BB10 start date a week before C4 did (which could have been a smart guess, of course).

The company has seperate teams for seperate purposes, for this person to work with the producers they'd have to be high up - and somebody so high up would not potentially balls their career up in favour of a fan-site. Lies, lies, lies.

My question to Jacob - suspending my natural cynicism of anyone who claims to be an insider for a moment - is why are C4 intent on killing their flagship show? They have done everything - everything - to spoil Big Brother. Either they are woefully incompetent, or it's deliberate, presumably to taint the show so no one else wants it after 2010.
