Im going on a World Challenge expedition this summer and Im a bit behind on making the money for it. I've found that its impossible to try to find a good paying job in london while still at school, does anybody have any ideas on making money?? thanks xxx

 Wow, you're going on an expedition with World Challenge. That's so cool. Where are you going to?
I went with World Challenge in 2002 to Namibia on a Team Challenge and I'm going to do a Gap Challenge to Malaysia this September.
Not sure what advice on fund raising I can give. I just got some supermarket job and saved a lot. Look in their leaflets for fund raising ideas.
how can i 'join' world challenge?

Look through their site and they should be able to send you an information pack.

Cool, you're going to Borneo. Not long for you now. So do you know what you'll be doing out there?

Yeah but just basically, climatisation trek in one of the national parks, about a week of jungle trekking, then staying in a long house in a village to do some sort of community work before R & R - Orangutang sanctury, white water rafting and the beach!
What are you doing? Going to Borneo whilst you're in Malaysia??

we had like £3 to live on a day...had 10 dyas of trekking at least 25k and had to get info for projects on german culture from the locals.
It was excellent!

Yeah, I think I'll be on the island of Borneo throughout my stay. I think I'll be doing teaching in Sarawak, but I haven't received my reply yet, but I'm sure I'll get accepted. There's also a climatisation and orphange helping for a Gap Challenge. Should be pretty exciting. You seem like a regular to this forum, so I'll be looking forward to hearing what stories you have from being out there.
