It's a main factor of the show that people can watch 24/7,that why people are so angry and annoyed that it's been removed.

Big Brother was never that anyway. Even the live feed was heavily edited. If you want to see unedited people 24/7, go to a busy street.

It is retarded. I am not denying that. I love live feed and will continue to watch it from midnight on over the summer, but these people who go overboard and say ''the series will be ruined without live feed!'' are thick.

Big Brother IS the live feed. The h/l show is just a condensed package of the full stories. The lack of live feed means the UK no longer has a Big Brother, according the premise of the show as laid down by Endemol.

Nothing much interesting happens on the Live Feed anyway and when it does those birds come on which is extremely irritating.

Iv been a big brother fan since it started, basically due to ill health, so not being able to work, i watched live feed all the time. I am gutted that live feed has been axed. I would of payed for it, given the chance. How can we possibly form a opinoin on house mates, if we don't get to see much of them. Surely e4 could of chosen better selected times of live coverage, if they don't want the red button. No one is going to sit up all night and watch them sleep. Would of been better to have, 11.30 until 03.30, 9am until 11.30 am, 4pm until 6pm, when the most intersting things may be happening. True bb fans will be gutted, as big brother is about wathcing there every move. The highlight show is good, but only shows what big brother want you to see, so they really pick the winner.

i love the live feed,dont mind the bird noise aslong as i can watch the hms,i think it helps us build up a better view of the persons personality,i am a stay home mum with a mini tribe its the only thing that keeps me sane through the hols,i will be totally lost with out,and the kids will go mad.without being able to check in with there (bb friends) periodically in the day.:yuk:

I think what people don't realise is just how much goes on on the livefeed that doesn't make the highlights. The livefeed is what made the show, the highlights are a compressed watered down version of the highlight shows, so much stuff last year was missed out on that could of been shown but didn't because the editing team and C4 had this "story" they needed to convey, now I am not dismissing this, for any show there needs to be some sort of narrative to keep people hooked, but the narrative was so far edited and tweaked that the dynamics of the house was completely different to what ACTUALLY happened and how people ACTUALLY felt about each other. The livefeed provided a constant stream of activity, debate and drama to all who watched it, to whomever dipped in and out of it, and it is these viewers that will see a true representation of the housemates and goings on. We do not have that this year, we have scraps, and people want US to give C4 a break! Sheesh.

If Channel 4 removed the highlights show, or bunked them down to a certain amount a week, I'd understand the concern. I don't see how a live stream of people (most of the time) doing absolutely nothing, whilst birds and helicopters are filtered above being removed is such a huge problem. It's no big loss.

I find it hard to believe that this could be the highlight of some peoples days, especially in the summer!
