It has been confirmed that if there is not enough veiws this year and next year then we have to wave goodbye to Big Brother for good !
So everyone please stop being so negative and just keep watching BB, PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEE !

It will be back next year, it's written in the contract.

But after next year, no one knows yet. I think a lot of it depends on how BB10 does in the ratings.

Hopefully BB10 can rate well in the ratings and also please the fans with an exciting series.

Then hopefully Channel 4 will recomission the show. Davina said in an interview today that it's likely that Channel 4 will recomission the show, which is great news! :hello:

The live feed still airs overnight, between midnight and 6am when most happens anyway.

There is no chance of BB10 doing good enough in the ratngs, BB9 would probley do better than this years will.. because its not advertised at all outside C4 anymore and people have forgotten all about it.
So the only views it will get is...

i agree that channel 4 keep ****ing up on advertising.
yet i think once the ball is rolling and more people is watching. ratings will go up by word of mouth. i think :eureka:

They're deciding by the end of the year. I think they will have been quite pleased with the BB9 ratings, it did well in comparison to other channels at the time. So if BB10 can get similar figures I'd say there is quite a big chance of it being renewed ... but probably only on a yearly basis. I doubt they'll be running into another 4 series contract with a ridiculous amount only for it to bomb
