Thsi year seems to be the year that BB lets its guard down...first we see the eye by mistake, then we see the house by mistake. But is this just a clever publicity stunt to drum up more attention?

Sure, seeing the eye is greate, but seeing it by "mistake" is surely going to get a bit more publicity. And also with the house pictures....surely the article heading "House Pics released in BB Blunder" is going to be more effective than "big brother house"...

im not sure.. i think their aim is try and not get anything leaked... but suppose this is a good way to grab more attention! rather than just the adverts which are on tv!

I think big brother are in a win win situation every year, if things get leaked, more publicity, if nothing gets leaked, more shock on launch night.

The insider on IBB (i think?) mentioned that the producers are pretty angry, so I don't think it was a publicity stunt.

I don't think either have been publicity stunts
Its quite obvious that the reveal of the house will get no headlines and attention before the final of BGT as today has shown. To get the maximum press attention the house pics would have to be revealed next week, at the very earliest Monday
and I think the eye being revealed was a genuine mistake and there was no going back so they officially revealed it quite soon after

I agree joelypants, i think it was on purpose, why would they even have a picture of the possible living area when it's not finished yet?
