BB and the bookies

Do you think the bookies odds have an affect on how you vote?

The bookies have got the final night odds wrong 4 times in a row now, and also on a number of evictions.

BB8 - Brian (9/2) beat Amanda.Sam (1/8)
Hijack - John (4/1) beat Amy (5/6)
BB9 - Rachel (10/3) beat Michael (8/11)
CBB6 - Ulrika (12/1) beat Verne (1.55/1)

Are the under-dogs coming out on top due to bookies odds? I know I voted more for Brian to win BB8 because Amanda/Sam were the favorites and he needed more votes (little did I know he was going to win by such a big margin). I think it Rachel as well, her fans kept voting because they knew she had a chance - while Mikey fans may have thought he had it in the bag.

Or maybe it's because less and less people are voting that each and every vote counts more and more.

Well, no. I was a fan of Brian. I wanted him to win. But if he was the favourite I probably would have voted less because I would have expected him to win.

i voted for mikey about 7 times to win!! lol! because i thought it would have been a close call.. and i thought sara might have come 1st!

i voted for mikey because he was consistently entertaining! not the fact that he was blind!

and in fact mikey didnt complain he was blind and didnt give the audience.. "oh i feel sorry for myself" the lights of darnell kept on complaining and feeling sorry for himself!

yeah i think everyone likes an under dog also!

and im glad brian won bb8 :) i didnt vote.. i said to myself.. "ahh let fate decide" lol and then he bagged 1st place :D

i have noticed a lot of people who bag 1st place.. dont do much after big brother.. its mainly the losers who dwell on the celebritism!!

I would say that it was due to the decline in voting figures/ratings.
BB8 dropped as an average by 800,000 from BB7, and no one was talking about voting because of the Nikki back in fiasco.

I do think its up to the forums now, im sure the forums make up half of the total votes. In the C4 forum for the final of BB9, there was a war goig on between Rex and Rachel fans and they voted as much as they could, weirdly Rex only came 4th. The power of thje foprum defenitley helped Rachel, and she defenitley wouldnt have won if the forums werent voting for her (as it was so close). But BB9 did have higher people voting than BB8, it makes sense, it was a better series imo. Thats why odds are soo wrong now, less people are voting and the underdogs are winning.

and it was incredibly close between rachel, mikey and sara!! they were all in the 30% zone when it was just them 3 left!!

Rachel won because it was fixed there was accually news about this posted on the TiBB news a few weeks back.

Hopefully we have a real winner this year.
All we have to is vote for the entertaining people because if you think..
"Oh hes going to win whats the point in wasting money voting.."
Then alot of others will think like that, so you are the only one who can really make your favourite win.

I say this year, Boot the boring people out first so we dont end up with another crap winner.
I just said to my mate there.. "You know Rachel from BB9?"
And he said "Whos Rachel?" and It took like 5 minutes to expalin to him who she was.
