do you think the average person walking down the street knows that BB10 starts on the 4th of june?
Depends if they have an interest/watch channel four I spose.
Promotion will start this week. BGT is where its at atm so noone really cares about other shows yet. Same happened last year.

If I wasn't on this forum I wouldn't know it was starting again, so I doubt they do.

A few people who I have spoken too knew the launch date and they don't watch C4/E4 much
I don't think enough people know yet but promotion will heavy next week and there will be some press attention as BGT ends
I think it would have been better to launch the week after to get a full weeks press attention before the launch

I've seen ads all over the music channels, so I don't think people are completely clueless.

Probably not, because C4 isnt a widely watched channel.
But i have seen the ads everywhere, probably about 20+ times each day (on C4 alone) and Smash Hits and 4Music are advertising it all of their ad breaks.

I work in a shop and quite a few people have mentioned it over the last few days so I would say yes. They know it is starting soon.

Hardly anybody know's really, so far - promotion has been crap. It'll get better within this coming week.

The average person probably doesn't watch much Channel 4 so won't have seen the trails, let alone the specials on E4.
So unless they read the TV pages of the Star, Sun or NOTW they won't know it's back.

No. Quite a few people think it's no longer on the air. Which it won't be for much longer, obviously.

its always been advertised on music channels so i suppose the target audience know.
lets be fair bb isnt getting new viewers there depending on hardcore fans which they are isolating with lack of live feed

The Susan Boyle story has led to a lot of discussion about how to care for people exposed during reality TV programmes. This has involved frequent references to BB as the first example and that it is about to start again.
This has meant publicity in non-tabloids like The Observer and The Guardian.

No which is why this year will be a total failure.
No one in my school even knows they all look at me when I talk about it and say "BB Is axed!" and i have to keep sayen "NO ITS NOT!!"
They need to advertise more!
Okay maybe billboards is abit too much money wise..
All they have to do to get a few more million ratings is advertise on...
Facebook,MSN Home,Bebo,Youtube.
That could bring in TONS Of viewers
