old now remember the so called golden age tv, shows that changed to like till death do us part{ total uproar when started} steptoe and son, complaints over swearing, now this shows are landmarks and telly come of age,,,,,,,i really did not think i would be saying this, but bb landmark in television,so many shows spawned by the idea of bb, will go down in tv history, for good or bad, channel 4 treat show with respect it deserves, not many shows get our wonderful mps exercised,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, good stuff, hope good one this your,never know might beat last summer wine for longest running show,,, most of you be heading for pension by time it wraps up,

Just trying to incorperate this with the point of the forum... I've often wondered what a show of this caliber would have been like had it been thought up in say the 60's or 70's...
