really sorry if this has been asked before.....but can any one tell me the extra/secret channel that we tuned into last year on sky. i can't remember the channel freq or number:xyxwave:

It was used for live feed which is not happening anymore so there is no point.

in add more channels on sky box you put the freq in and saved it and it was an exclusive channel 24/7.can't remember number tho

The secret channel, although was networked through the same regions as 'the red button' it was not specifically signalled FOR the red button, it was something for the BB/Sky people...

So... How is it done again, please? Just I dunno, humour me...

In 'Add Channels' you just have to edit the frequency and numbers then save it, go into 'Other Channels' and you're set. not sure if I have the frequencies anymore though.

I posted this for BB9 but can't find the thread - don't know if it still works but here's how you do it:

Press "Services", select "System Setup", then "Add Channels".

Enter the following details
Frequency : 12.480
Polarisation: V
Symbol Rate 27.5
FEC: 2/3

Select "Find Channels".
You will see 2 new channels - Move the cursor to "12005" and press Yellow, then Select.

To watch the channel: Press "Services" and select "Other Channels" and select 12005
